Today is National Sticker Day! :) January 13 is National Sticker Day and it’s the perfect day to go crazy with your love of them! The first stickers began as tax and postage stamps in the 1800s, but they have come a long way since then and there are a variety of uses and styles today.
SCHOOL NEWS
There will be NO school on January 18, 2021 due to Martin Luther King Jr. Day and Teacher’s In-Service.
Congratulations to the HWC Girl’s Basketball Team on their victory last night over Nelson County! Final Score was 49-44.
Thank you to the Manfred Seventh-day Adventist Church for donating new gloves, boots, and hats to our storage closet! Our students will be super warm when they go out for recess!
HWC won its first matchup in the LRSC Battle Royale! Now we wait to see if we will be up against Carrington or Midkota!
The Hornet's Nest is officially open for the new year! They will be open every day after school from 3:20 - 3:40. Come by and check out our new snacks & the winning stickers of the FCCLA Young Entrepreneur Sticker Contest!
